Back to School Information

Blossom’s “Welcome Back to School” letter linked below contains important information about the upcoming 2023-2024 School Year.  Please take a few moments to read the letter in it’s entirety – it’s lengthy, but it contains a lot of “need to know” information about setting up your child’s Back to School paperwork meeting, school hours, before & after care, tuition & fees, uniforms, etc.

Welcome Back to School 2023-2024

Blossom’s “Classroom Welcome Back” letters are linked below.  Please take a moment to read your child’s assigned classroom letter.  The letter will include the Classroom Teacher’s introduction, general information, and requirements for any items your child will need to bring to school each day.  Please note each classroom has a different school supply list as they are specific for each class and level; however, supplies will be provided by Blossom on the first day of school.  The Annual Materials Fee that you will pay at your child’s Back to School paperwork meeting will cover the cost of their classroom supplies, materials, books and workbooks that they will use throughout the school year.  If you are unsure which classroom your child will be attending this year, please feel free to contact Blossom’s Associate Director, Colette Derks via e-mail at cderks@blossomschool.org and she will reply to you in a timely manor.

9-12 Classroom Welcome Back to School 2023-2024

Blossom’s first day of school of the 2023-2024 School Year is Wednesday, August 9th, 2023.  School will start promptly at 8:30am.  Please note there is NO Before Care on this day; however, we will be open for After Care for students who are enrolled in the program.  On the first day of school, Blossom students should bring in any requested items listed in their “Classroom Welcome Back to School” letter, along with a healthy morning snack, complete lunch, afternoon snack (if enrolled in After Care), and a reusable water bottle.  All personal items should be listed with your child’s first and last name.  Your child’s belongings may be stored in your child’s designated locker or cubby upon arrival.  Students will be dismissed to parents or approved persona promptly at 3:15pm when the academic day ends, unless they are enrolled in the After Care program.  After Care students may be picked up by a parent or approved person after 3:15pm and prior to 5:30pm.  The building will close and lock down promptly at 5:30pm.

Blossom’s first family event of the 2023-2024 School Year will be held Thursday, August 24th at 5:30pm.  This will be our official Back to School Open House.  The Back to School Open House gives you and your family the opportunity to learn about changes for the new year, meet your child’s teacher and other Blossom families.  Please mark your calendar now and plan on attending this event with your child.

*Back to School information for the 2024-2025 School Year will be available and posted August 2024.
