VPK (PT Program)

The earlier any child begins to acquire language, the better that child’s communication skills will become and deaf children are no exception. We believe a strong foundation in language coupled with social, emotional and cognitive skills will ensure success of our young Blossom students as they progress through their educational journeys.

Maria Montessori wrote “The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but the first one, the period from birth to the age of six. For that is the time when man’s intelligence itself, his greatest implement, is being formed. But not only his intelligence; the full totality of his psychic powers. … At no other age has the child greater need of an intelligent help …”

Our preschool is open to deaf and hard of hearing children, hearing siblings and children of deaf adults (CODA) ages 2 1/2 – 6.

**Please note: Blossom must have 4 or more VPK students enrolled to participate in this program.  The VPK program will not be offered during the 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 School Years.**
