October 2011 – Heart for Arts Raises Big $$ for Blossom

Our thanks to Steve Westphal, Chef Tyson Grant, and all of our generous friends who made this year’s Heart for Art Wine Pairing Dinner a record-breaking success.

September 2011 -Verizon Foundation Recognizes Blossom with $5,000 Grant

The Verizon Foundation recently awarded Blossom a $5,000 grant to help our children improve their literacy skills through experiential learning programs.  Thanks to the Verizon Foundation and a number of our other friends, our students will be able to learn through practical experience by visiting places like the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts, the Salvador Dali Museum, Ruth Eckerd Hall, and other locations.  Thanks Verizon.

July 2011 – Harper Family Charitable Foundation Awards Blossom $5,000

Our new friends, the Harper Family Charitable Foundation, has awarded Blossom a $5,000 grant to support our Strokes of Genius and Community Outreach Program.  Thanks to the Harper Family Charitable Foundation our students will be able to learn through practical experience by visiting places like the St. Petersburg Museum of Fine Arts, the Salvador Dali Museum, Ruth Eckerd Hall, and other locations.  Thank you Harper Family Charitable Foundation.

June 2011 – Thank You to the Rays Baseball Foundation

Our thanks to the Rays Baseball Foundation for a $5,000 grant to support the work being done at Blossom Montessori School for the Deaf.  We love our new computers and media center equipment.  GO RAYS!
