Admissions

Blossom Montessori School for the Deaf is a private non-profit school recognized by the Florida Department of Education.   Blossom does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs or any other school-administered programs.

All potential students are evaluated, prior to admission, by our Blossom teaching staff and our Blossom partners.  At Blossom we want to make sure that we are able to meet the individualized needs of each child we accept in order to provide them the very best education.  In some cases, if we believe Blossom is not the best placement for a child, we will make recommendations to the family about alternative education choices that may be better suited to their needs.

Tuition

Blossom relies on parents, families, private donations, foundations, corporations and service groups to fulfill the balance in funding associated with the high level of services and programs we offer our students.

Some of Blossom’s students are eligible for the McKay Scholarship, a program provided by the State of Florida for children with disabilities who have spent a minimum of one year in a Florida public school.  To learn more about Blossom’s specific tuition structure or to schedule a visit to the school, please contact us
