Blossom has developed an innovative curriculum to meet the needs of our unique student body. The curriculum combines the theory and progression of Montessori with a variety of approaches to teaching the Deaf as well as some exciting and groundbreaking programs designed by our staff to meet the needs of each individual child. Our starting point is the Montessori curriculum which has withstood the test of time, and from there we incorporate processes, materials and methodologies to meet the needs of each and every student. When you observe what is happening in our classrooms you will see that each child is taught individually. We have taken our base curriculum and adapted and modified it so each child has their own custom-tailored curriculum. We are very proud of our academic programming and invite you to visit us to see it in action first hand and discuss it with our staff.
Admissions & Tuition
All potential students are evaluated by our Blossom teaching staff and Blossom Partners. Following this evaluation, these key staff members make a recommendation to the Board. The Board then makes the final decision. At Blossom we want to make sure that we are able to meet the individualized needs of each child we accept in order to provide them the very best education.
Scholarship Program
Blossom Montessori School for the Deaf is a nonprofit organization and participates in various scholarship programs offered by the State of Florida and Blossom itself. MORE
Why Montessori?
If you are not familiar with the Montessori Method, you may wonder why it is that Blossom chose Montessori as the learning style with which to model our unique educational program. We encourage you to visit this part of our website where we answer the question "Why Montessori?"
